Our Ministries
Our goal is to provide opportunities and space for Christ-centered reflection and rest. To do this, we currently offer a fantastic group solitude retreat, Deep Woods Immersion. And we are moving toward the acquisition and development of a dedicated place for Cypress Ministries, Cypress Hollow Iowa, which will include our residential internship program, Project Groundwork.
Deep Woods Immersion is a guided group retreat experience that weaves together solitude, scripture meditation, and fellowship. Over a weekend, participants spend time in the woods seeking God in solitude and scriptural meditation. Around the fire, participants share, laugh, fellowship, and encourage each other.
Cypress Hollow will be a dedicated space in Eastern Iowa set apart for solitude and restoration ministries. We are currently looking to acquire and develop just the right piece of property that we can call home and offer retreats, reflection, rest, and coaching/counseling.
Project Groundwork
Project Groundwork will be our residential internship program at Cypress Hollow Iowa. Interns will join us for 6-12 months to practice key life skills, develop a disciplined and intentional lifestyle, and be mentored in learning to walk with God for a lifetime.
